Motorway travellers stopping off at RoadChef service stations across the country can experience a new and exciting pit-stop this week. BT Openzone will be present at RoadChef locations demonstrating how you can now 'Work, Talk & Play' at events on Wednesday and Thursday (1st/2nd and the 8th/9th March).
Many business travellers already realise the benefits of Wi-Fi in putting them in control of their working day, as they no longer have to rush back to the office to send urgent emails but instead can log on to their corporate networks using Wi-Fi access provided by BT Openzone in RoadChefs across the country. The 'Work, Talk & Play' event will show how Wi-Fi can be used for so much more.
For example, drivers popping into the each RoadChef can check out online route planners, whilst their passengers make phone calls or use Instant Messaging (IM) via BT Communicator with Yahoo! messenger to let their friends and family know when they'll be home, or even to confirm hotel bookings. In addition, gamers who already have the latest Nintendo Mario Kart DS can take their console to the RoadChef's restaurant to test their driving skills, for free.*

* The Mario Kart DS game was the first in what looks set to be a long line of titles to fully benefit from the Nintendo Wi-Fi offering. For example, also launched for the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection was 'Tony Hawk's American SK8Land' from Activision. The Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection is available only at BT Openzone and The Cloud hotspots.
